Baroque, malsain, néo-classique… Mike Bohatch retranscrit sa passion pour la littérature fantastique, les films d'horreur et l'étrange dans ses travaux d'illustration pour les scènes musicales gothique, metal et industrielle. Bien qu'utilisant les outils numériques depuis de longues années, ce n'est qu'à travers l'intégration de techniques plus académiques assimilées lors de ses études d'art classique qu'il a pu préciser un style qu'il définit aujourd'hui comme organique et digital.

Being involved in the arts in one form or another, most of his life, Mike Bohatch took his passion for horror movies and the love for creating bizarre images into the realm of illustration. While working many years in the digital field in all aspects of print, design, the web and multimedia it wasn't until implementing his studies of traditional fine arts, that he began to bring true realization to his ideas and visions. By combining the physical side of fine arts with the electronic realm of computer graphics he began a process of imagemaking he refers to as "digital organics".
